In this lesson, children will first focus on Maths, using their knowledge of place value to multiply and divide decimals by 10, 100 and 1,000, and exploring thousandths and their relationship to tenths and hundredths. They will then move on to English, using a science theme to explore how apostrophes are used for contraction and possession. Interactive puzzles and quizzes will give children opportunities to consolidate key ideas and check their progress.
