Lesson Overview
In the first part of this lesson, children will work on Maths, calculating the area of rectangles, rectilinear and compound shapes, including estimating areas of irregular figures, and finding the area of triangles, parallelograms and trapezia in multi-step problems. In the second part of the lesson, we will move on to Non-Verbal Reasoning, completing mixed challenges that require logical reasoning, pattern spotting and visual analysis.
